Trying to capture a sprig of the smoke bush. This lovely bush has really dark leaves, some of them almost black but as I turn the branch it shimmers red. It reminds me of fabric that looks two different colours as the wearer moves.
The smoke effect is from the delicate flower growing on so many little criss-cross stems, like an Anthony Gormley sculpture.
