These delicate anemones are still putting on a strong display in the garden, and make a pretty arrangement with some smoke bush foliage.
One of them is shedding its petals, but I can’t discard it yet. I love the way the huge centre is exposed, bereft of its corona of stamens, and the elegant markings, twists and turns of the final two petals.
