This is a branch from our Japanese Crab Apple (which I write with confidence having been introduced to the Plant Finder App). It’s so covered in blossom that it’s impossible to see where one flower finishes and the next begins. It’s a mass of petals and stamens, all competing to attract the bees. And attract them they do. Even on this cool morning there are quite a few, and on a warm afternoon the tree sings with the sound of the bees.
