I’ve been enjoying watching a couple of sprigs of geranium buds in a vase. Today one opened out into a delicate pink flower.
In some ways the buds are more interesting. They are a wonderful rounded shape, with thick green stripes, and amazing, long pink stamens protruding from the top. Each has one particularly long stamen curling over at the top with a star shape at the end, like some exotic bird’s headdress. I wish I could do them justice.
