It seems to have been a good year for rose hips – or else I’ve just noticed them more.
I’ve seen some rose bushes covered in hips, and one bank of bushes with round hips the size of small tomatoes.
These were found on a walk; the hips of wild roses.
Rose hips can be made into jelly, syrup or herbal tea, and are rich in vitamin C. I’m content to look, and to draw.
