Today I’m sharing an image of the sunflower, the National flower of Ukraine. Artists round the world are doing the same.

The flag of Ukraine, a blue horizontal stripe over a yellow horizontal stripe, is often thought of as representing the sky over a field of sunflowers.

The sunflower has become a symbol of hope and resistance in Ukraine, and for those of us who can only look on in horror from afar.
